Today, cancer care has evolved by leaps and bounds but we have not gotten rid of the negative cancer terminology like palliative care, terminal disease, or Stage IV. Why can't we treat cancer like any other chronic disease? A diabetes patient is never told he is a victim of diabetes, or he is being given palliative care.

If and when a democracy unknowingly makes minorities feel threatened, if it tends to nip any form of dissent in the bud, and if it deems every secular voice and force anti-national by default, it ceases to be a democracy!

High time the common men and women of the country woke up, repaired and reinstated the original democracy that has defined India through the ages, a democracy built on altrusitic values that are put into practice and cherished by all political parties contesting elections with unconditional commitment and devotion.
